The 25, 21, Regular and Umnumzaan comparison photos ***VIDEO & Pics Inside***

BBQ BOY, are there two allen wrenches for the two sizes of screws? Pivot looks larger than the stand-off size.

Yes, they give you two large Hex wrenches for the pivot, BUT, they didn't include a wrench for the other handle screws.

Taking the photos is no problem guys. I am glad I could show off.:D Feels kind of cool being the first person to have received the 25.

I was bitten. 25 times. ;) Within a week I should have one. Road back to CRK. Thanks BBQ! (Dangerous thread)

Thanks again for the quick pics!

But that notch in front of the jimping has got to go...Looks so out of place.

Is the notch sharp enough to scrape fire steel? I've been wanting one since I saw the prototype, seems like they are all sold out at the moment though..... Thank you for the great pics!

Could it be the jimping pattern and notch are just more steps created to dissuade counterfeiting? Or to make the counterfeits more identifiable?

All I know is it throws the nice curve on the new blade shape way off....

I loved the prototype shape.

Needless to say it wont stop me from owning and using the heck out of it...

If I get time on Monday, I'm going to call Heather and see if she can tell me what it is.

There's usually a reason.

I'm a bit surprised they kept the IM the same and got rid of the date stamp inside the scales.

The date stamp isn't needed for the first run, they can always add it as things change :)

That pivot is awesome... Man, I am really loving this knife the more I look at it. The notch above the thumb stud doesn't really bother me much either. But that's just me.

I think the larger pivot really adds to it. More solid?(looking)
-clarification, for those easily wounded. ;)

Was there ever any problem about stability of the sebs? The stability has ever been one of the most interesting issues of the sebenzas, so what are you talking about? How many Sebs have you ever seen with pivot broken?
Did everybody forget the advantages of the sebenzas? Man, man, is Alzheimer around here?

Hilarious. I knew someone would respond that way. IMHO. It just looks cools. More solid. Not saying it never was. Aesthetics buddy. Alzheimer's is a serious disease. So, what are you talking about?

This knife is stupid solid. I can loosen the pivot and the knife is still bank vault solid. The notch on top of the spine doesn't look bad, actually. Heck, I don't even see it most of the time. It is finished off nicely but I do not think it would work for a fire steel. The jimping would work better for that.

BBQB,

The Unnumzaan always created a hot spot for me because the clip was too close to the edge of the handle, this looks to have a clip very close to the handle as well. Does it create a hot spot for you? Have you had similar experience with the Umnumzaan?
