The All New 2008 "What Did You Cut with Your Buck Today?" Topic

Other than the miscellaneous things I used the Hi Lo for, didn't cut anything special today.

But I am sorting and figuring out what Bucks I will be using on this "Buck" come hunting season. This one was teasing me just across the fence back in early Feb. Maybe its rack will be a huge one by Nov. But Axis aren't a Texas game animal so this one might not make it till November.

I figure the 819 should do it.

just thought yall might like the pic..

Hey Larry nice pic.I bet the 819 would do a great job.
I will help you eat him next weekend.:D
Going down you know where to hunt you know what.
I'll bring the tortilla's.

Again, went with the trusty little 425 to open the box with a Buck Custom Shop 909 from circa '90. That little 425 can open some of the best mail let me tell you what!

Its one of the signature series knives.

119 styled S30V mirror polished blade and chackered walnut handle. Very nice!

Lots of different "bucks" in TX. I think I should move there ;) Nice pic Pack rat!

Didn't anyone ever teach you to use the right tool for the job ;) :D

I got bit once doing that also, and if it werent for the super glue, she would have been good for a few stitches!

Today... (well everyday) I got to use the Americraft Buck kitchen set! (making supper)
I think I have died and gone to heaven ;)

Also cut all kinds of stuff at work ( extension cord, boxes, nylon slings) with the S30V Rush, and its still factory sharp for being an EDC for a few weeks!

I used my s30v Vanguard to spread peanut butter on bread while out fishing today.

Sliced my thumb on one of the pair of 850 Bravo 154CM knives received today from Larry in Peru ;) One partial for the closet and a non-serrated for EDC Qualification Testing.

I used to crack up at the Buck Commerative tins with the "WARNING. KNIFE IS SHARP." warning tags. This knife didn't have one. Anyone know a good attorney?

The suckah is amazingly sharp. Not enough blood to warrant a pic. Clean cut and just barely bled...not too deep. Happened as I pulling the blade back in using one hand...ya know, thumb on the liner lock while pushing the blade on the spine to close. Didn't get my thumb out of the way in time and nicked it.

I like the G-10 and am trying to figure out the Besh Wesh tip. The liner lock seems to gouge into the index finger when gripping it tight...but I think it is just a matter of getting used to gripping it differently.

Has my 880 Strider Buck just been de-throned????

I'll take pics of the pair and write more about the Bravo tomorrow when the light is better.
