Like I said above, this one just arrived today, so I wanted to share another stag 110 I now have.
This one is from 1989 and has a Damascus blade and NS bolsters.

As you wish, my friend. My photography leaves a lot to be desired, especially using an iPad, but I will gladly contribute to this great thread (wait a couple weeks and I'll really have something to share).

Wow guy's keep posting your fantastic stag/Ivory Buck knives for each of us to enjoy. Here is the 905 photo's posted in the SPS.

I found this knife for sale here in the Buck knife sale section by one of our own Buck nut brother's and had to have it. This post also needs to have my story about the 905 Mountain Man Bowie. Well, I have loved looking at these fantastic Buck made custom shop knives for some time (years). Some of our Buck brothers have post photo's of their 905's in their collections and for me it was love at first sight. This is a great looking knife with a cool looking large sweeping blade, all of the 905's I have seen had stag handles, rounded butt or crown stag butt.

Many years ago I found one for sale on ebay, it was amazing with a crown stag handle and had a gold etched blade, the gold etch was of a mountain man. I had watched this knife and wished it had a lower price tag, well as the months went by and no one bid the price was getting lower, and more months went by and the price was getting lower. Then it hit my price range, my problem the auction was to end while I was out hunting. So I had to put in my bid and leave for the hills, when I returned I found I had lost the bid by $5. That one that got away still haunts me today after many years:(. Maybe one day I'll again find that one that got away for sale again....one can always dream right.

Then a few years ago Buck put out a new 905LE with a gold etch blade. I had to have it and it is in my collection today and it is a nice knife. But, it does not have the same long sweep to the blade as the old custom shop knives have. As a result the hunt for a CS 905 had never stopped and when I saw the one for sale here, well the rest of the story is in the photo's below.

Here's the 2000 Club 501 I was able to add to my collection of Club knives this week. Now if I can just get my hands on the 500 that was made using the same pattern. :)

Have made several Buck Alpha Hunter Scales from Mammouth Ivory and India Sambar. Basically my method is to overlay a factory scale over the exotic material and trace a pattern. Then I use a scroll saw to make the rough cuts, and a combination of different sanders, files and sandpaper to get the proper thickness and finished edges. Finally I use a drill press to make the holes and use a dowel bit to countersink the screws.

The hardest part is getting the screw holes perfectly aligned. Here is a link to some of my projects.

Here we have a Buck 904 Damascus Sub-Hilt Bowie. This is my favorite of my Buck collectables. The damascus pattern is fantastic and with the elk horn handles and the combination of copper and nickel silver on the guards and pommel it makes for a fantastic combination. This knife was made by WBC, Wild Bill Cody, for the 30 year award knife for a Buck employee. I had Wild Bill sign inside the display box under the felt insert when I met him during the BCCI 25th event this last summer. I have yet to see another with this combination of materials.

Some gorgeous knives here. This is the pride of my Buck collection. Still in pristine condition.
Placed my order in person at the Buck factory back when they were in San Diego.
Nickel bolsters, BG-42, very colorful Sambar Stag.

It's been a while since I posted on this thread, but I have some stag to add that I just recently acquired.
Today I have a little NIB 305 slip joint stag from 1989.

Okay…this is the last of the NIB 1989 stag 300 series knives I've recently acquired;

Here is a Buck 931 Sub-hilt fighter with random damascus blade, elk antler handles with brass guards and pommel and black spacers. Made by WBC and comes in a wood with glass top display case with COA. Total length is just under 11".
