I just received the Tan canvas New Hiker on page 5 in the mail today and WOW! This is my first JK knife, and I can't begin to describe how incredibly well made and substantial the knife is. I took it in the back yard and immediately started trying it out. Exceptional performance and the ergonomics of the knife are outstanding! Thanks again John, I am very very impressed with the New Hiker

Since I have not posted anything lately, I thought I should do an update. This morning I profiled out a TTSK, a Kephart, a Phoenix, a special order Tin Knife, and two Lobo`s. Tomorrow I will start grinding the bevels, and hopefully heat treat this weekend.

Sounds like you get quite a few Kephart orders. Not surprising, they are sweet.
Wish you would do a line of them or a limited run with exotic woods or something along those lines. One time only run like the traditional serial numbers.
