The Anvil Shed, The spot to shoot the breeze.

Would like to see a stealth run of a 102 with a straight clip. The same blade shape as this 119. I think the pic is from the JANUARY 2023 BOM. Would love to see the 102 and 117 with a straight clip, to go along with the 119.

Edited.

What about a 102 in Magnacut with a 117 handle? Would be a little longer handle for the 102 and a steel upgrade too. Even better yet if had a straight clip like the previous post of the 119 BOM.

Can anyone create an image of what the 102 would look like with a longer handle and straight point? Some of you out there can play with the image, right? 😁

Anyone else have a hankerin' for a 110 in K390? Maybe with gray G10 scales, or gray burlap micarta, and nickel silver?

Still would love to see the 102 with a 117 handle, the opposite of the special run they made with the 117 with a smaller 102 handle. I think that was called a mini 117? It sounded counter intuitive then, but a 102 with a slightly bigger handle makes sense to me. Any thoughts?

Edit: I just posted this and only noticed my post from January. How funny. :)

Still relying on Spyderco to satisfy my K390 affliction.

I've used a 110 around the house a few times lately, but it's been a while since I carried a Buck 110 or 112. Everything goes in cycles . . .

Just a quick question if someone would be kind enough to answer, do they make a regular wooden scales drop point 112 with finger grooves?

Thanks, I do have a drop point with nickel bolsters and no FG that I got off the exchange, I guess for now I will enjoy my CKS clip point 112 in magnauct and FG that I got off the exchange. And the standard 112 with FG I will use as my user. I will have to add up the options for the CS to see if viable for me or i have the option to wait to see if the other desirable “want” of a 112 slim heritage in regular 420 or other stainless steel will ever be produced. Thanks for the help, I will play with the custom builder too.

Edit; Played around with with what I want on the Buck site and it would be around 170.00, something to weigh, or could get a heritage slim for about the same price. Definitely something to think about or keep my eye on the exchange. That is how I found my 112 in Magnacut and FG.

I think my next Buck should be a 112 with a David Yellow Horse creation. The ultimate would be a slim heritage elite with his work in the handle and bolsters and with a chip flint looking blade. How about that for an idea?😁

Edit: on second thought, it sounds like a regular 112 with thicker scales would be better for David Yellowhorse’s work. I wonder if the heritage elite’s scales would be too thin for such work to add to the handle?

With the Cold Steel 5 Max and the (probably) imminent Spyderco Police model five inch limited run, pretty sure it's past time for a Buck 110 or 112 with a five inch blade.

I'm just sayin'.
