For a folding field knife, I'd want an oversized pivot and washer. And if it's a frame lock, I'd like a CF scale over the lock side to give the lock back-up strength -- and better looks. 3V would be great.

How about a 5/16 pivot diameter and a size 10 grade 5 (6AL4V) titanium screw? I think it would be pretty cool if it could actually support a person's full weight without being harmed. You know, like a robust fixed blade? That would be cool. Goals, right?

I really like the one where he throws a spear at (I think) a Cape Water Buffalo and that damn buffalo somehow managed to block that spear with its horn. That was wild. If you haven't seen that, it's worth looking it up.

Do you have any idea when the folder will be released?

I'm going to try to have a prototype at Blade and hopefully the pre-production prototype run by the end of the year. It may yield 50-100 workable folders, it may not. Production of folders would probably start next year once we've validated the designs and production process.
