Any idea on how many K20s. I don’t like to run and be rude, although sometimes I just am 😁
*NOTNATHAN* Wasn't the preorder for 100, with the assumption that he was making enough to be reasonably sure of 100 intact swords after heat treat with the unknown effects of the Delta protocol on the sori potentially cracking blades? So one might reasonably think 100 total swords and ideally maybe a max of 50 extras if the steel comes through heat treat fine on all the blanks?

So you’re saying there’s a chance 👻

Dumb question. Why wouldn't the heat treat work?
#stillnotnathan if I recall it was that Nathan wasn't sure about how the heat treat would affect the sori. IIRC traditional Japanese swords often developed the sori from the differential heat treatment since the different parts of the blades were cooling at different rates during tempering.

But I am well outside my expertise, so you should take a lot of salt with that.

As long as we get past 25 and I'm happy lol

Sheesh - getting to the CPK table at the show sounds way more stressful than getting in on a hot Friday sale.

That has to feel pretty good for the CPK crew - and for me too.

Cheers from a distance!

I’d love to go someday but the whole “frenzy” of backpack laden grown children running like maniacs to get knives puts me off haha. I F’n hate standing in lines and getting pushed around playing assholes and elbows all day too.

Maybe it’s not like this when you’re actually there but damn, watching the videos Blade Show themselves puts up, it sure seems like it.

Great score on that HT trapper by the way 🍻
