The "Ask Nathan a Question" Thread

It is what it is. You roll the dice and see how it works out. I generally went home happy...if poorer. (And richer for the experience.)
I know it’s probably not that bad, I think I said the same thing when the Blade Show topic was breached last year lol.

One year I am going!! The other part that sucks is spending what equates to a few great knives just to get there and back (Screw driving the 13+hrs!)

The line that is queued up starting Friday morning before the Blade Show actually opens up in the early afternoon is just crazy.

It takes a long time for that massive line to file through the "bottleneck" entrance to the main floor.

I went a few years back while I was still living on the east coast, and it was amazing. There were so many incredible makers, and it was great to be around other knife enthusiasts. I hope to get there again one day, but it's probably not in the cards any time soon.

That line actually starts on like Tuesday🤣

This scares me....I could only imagine if I get this trip to work out... driving 9 hrs there , the stuff I want gone and driving 9hrs back with my wife giving me "that look" the whole time.... hahaha
If it helps, Nathan has a firm policy that nothing is sold until the Early Birds get to come in. He figures if everyone made the time commitment and paid that much to get there, the least we can do is have something on the table. We don't do ANY sales before the doors officially open.

You should start the sales at 3:00 to keep with tradition. :D

Apx 200 hrs/13,000 miles over the years. Only regret is breaking the streak in 2021. You’re gonna have a blast. They serve Beer.

This year's chopper is going to be a light medium chopper.

The most expensive thing on my table will, hopefully, be a K20. It will be around 2 grand.

I'm also hoping to bring a bunch of daggers to the Blade show that will only be available at Blade show. We will see.

All sales are cash.

I like the idea of a CPK get together in Atlanta.
Is there any chance of the chopper being offered in magnacut?

I'm trying to budget for the year; I have a LC already, but if there were a more stainless option I'd be all over it.
