We are running six machining centers here now and have two auto grinders so we are able to run a lot of operations in parallel so hopefully we will see both shiv and basic five ready for release at about the same time.

Fireman's breaching tools will be ready for heat treat in a couple weeks.

K20 is actually working out pretty well. The first of those will start to ship in a few months. We will start invoicing for the final payment next week.

I don't know what we're going to have for our summer sales. Our inventory is a little thin right now. I was planning on selling a bunch of Dek but we have a non-trivial amount of scrap there which reduces our options. This summer might be a little lean until the basic fives are ready this autumn

In my experience, very well. I am a very sweaty guy, and non-stainless is always a no-go for me. D3V has performed as if stainless for me. The tumbled finish also probably helps (as opposed to something like a bead blasted finish). But I have not noticed any need for special care. That said, most of my carry has been an LC, and even I can only sweat so much.

Same for me. I have seen some tarnishing on D3V that has been used and put away without being wiped down or on tangs where they get some sweat but you have to get it wet and dirty and then do nothing about it in order for that to happen. Nothing like a 1095 or M4 where it’s easy to get covered in red rust.

Huh, ok. Well, while I’d prefer a light chopper for the weight savings I’m intrigued. And as long as it’s lighter than the medium and I can get one I’ll be happy.

It will be the MC blade profile and scales but the LC thickness and primary grind angle. It won't be a heavy chopper but I really like it. There's not a whole lot out there like it. It will be very similar to the knife used to win that cutting competition at that ABS event that made some of those mastersmiths feel sad.

Nathan previously stated it will be the MC profile but the LC thickness and grind angle (see quote above).
