The "Ask Nathan a Question" Thread

Oh Great and Evil Genius ( Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist ) ,

Call me stupid but I just don’t know. How was the “Bad Idea” FK2 made thinner than the standard UFK? Was the blade stock machined thinner or hand ground thinner. If it was hand ground, did you commit the crime or did Mark? Thanks, Big Nate Dawg ! 👍🏼
I actually just got my hands on one of these. It's significantly thinner!
Hoping to post pics this weekend

Right on bud ! I’ve let go of 3 standard FK2s in order to acquire other CPKs. They’ll have to pry the “bad idea” from my cold dead hands, though. It’s that awesome and it came from a very special home.

Sad part is, I’ve beat the crap out of some of the more rare ones and am reluctant to scuff the H&M’s FK2. I really need rip the bandage off and rub some dirt on that one.

Looking forward to the pics.

Nice! Is love to see some pics of yours. Haven't seen much on the hard and thin

Nice.

You can tell the bad idea as the primary is very close to the logo. Which also answers your question ... (it's machined thinner, before the stone-wash). #NotNathanObviously

carnifex knifeworks carnifex knifeworks - here is yours overlooking the Windriver :) Just to share, thought you'd enjoy.
