Nathan the Machinist I wonder- has there ever been talk of a mini version of the field knife? Something with the same design, just shrunk, maybe with a sub 4” blade?

I like the field knife design, but it’s a lot of knife to carry. A mini would be sweet!

On a serious note - not cheap - but find yourself a Reaper. Best ~4" knife I've ever held.

Yes it is, try and find a nice Swedged DEK1. Plenty of scale and hardware options are available. You could easily sell it if it turns out it’s not to your liking.
