Thin tips have one use. And are susceptible to breaking. Reinforced tips, while not as slicey, have a variety of uses.
And I dont have to be careful sticking my knife into wood 🤷🏽‍♂️

Bro, it's just not really designed for stabbing into wood in general.I get it, that might feel sad for you or for your purposes.But this is a Skinner.It's meant to be sharp and thin.You've got the Fat Bastard for stuff like that kind of thing.You can probably whittle wood with the Skinner, but not do power stabs / hard pokes.It's kind of normal / expected that it's not supposed to do that…



If you want make it more friendly for stabbing/poking into wood,we’re the ones who’ll suffer — the people who will actually use the knife for its intended purpose.
