Placed an order a number of weeks ago and was told 3-6 weeks delivery time. 6 weeks went by and nothing showed up. E-mailed them re this and they said they were back-ordered, so I said to cancel the order. Last week the BR I told them to cancel showed up.

Basically it's a Trailmaster with maybe better coating, no guard, and a choil (really the most functional thing about it). Handle sucks even worse than the Trailmaster's. Before the ordering fiasco itself I had considered buying several of their knives. Now I know I'll never do business with the company again, and this POS knife is going on the block.

If you'd like to sell this Battle Rat, please let me know. (I prefer its handle than the TrailMaster.)
Thx!

Presumably--I haven't gotten the statement yet. I can't imagine I wouldn't have been, but no CC slip or invoice of any kind was in the box, if that's what you mean.

Wouldn't the right thing to do be ensure you have been charged before you sell a knife you may not own???

I have to agree with Mike on that point.

As for your bad experience, I can only say that I have never had bad dealings with them, but I know that things happen. As for the Trailmaster comparison, to each his own. I have had both, sold the Trailmaster. Resiprene C is a heck of a lot better material. Your loss will be someone's gain, assuming the blade was charged to you I guess.

This guy obviously isn't keen on ordering from busse or swamp rat. the bottomline is that the knife will arrive when it arrives. they're back ordered like crazy so don't expect them to ship in the advertised 3-6 weeks. the best thing to do is to CALL swamp rat and find out what's going on. then wait patiently.

as for dissing the BR, well you'd be the 1st person to not like the blade. there are lots, LOTS of people who'd want that BR without the wait.

I'm one of those guys, for sure! I also have the TrailMaster, but I like the BR a lot better. ;)

I'm sorry for the confusion and any inconvenience this has caused you. Did you receive a confirmation that the order had been cancelled? Either way it doesn't really matter, if it hasn't been used and you are not happy with it contact me and we will work out the details to return the knife and credit your CC back (if you were charged)

Additionally I'm sorry you were not happy with the knife, for future reference we offer different styles of handles if you don't like this kind, however it is considerably more durable than Kraton.

My email is e.isaacson@insightbb.com and I look forward to hearing from you so this issue can be resolved.

:D:D

After e-mailing to confirm that I wanted the order cancelled, I never heard back again. I assume I've been charged and if I haven't, please do so. Painful lessons are generally the best-retained. I'll sell or trade this piece of junk off as I'm able to do so.

If you didn't hear back then we didn't get the email to cancel the order. We always respond to cancellations. I'd be happy to make sure you were charged and if you weren't I'd be happy to do so, however, I don't really know who you are. So as I asked earlier please email me so I can help take care of this situation.

Also, I'm sorry you think our knives are such "junk". If you reconsider and want to send it back please contact me soon(as we have a 10 day return period) we could use it as we have a lot of "junk" on backorder.

Devilki,
Please email me your name so I can check the status of your order, I'm unable to search orders with only the order #

Thanks
Eric

If this knife is junk, then good luck selling it. No one wants junk right? I hope you price it as a piece of junk.

Eda,

I don't know Eric, but It sounds like he's trying to do the rite thing.People make mistakes when dealing with a lot of people.

I feel you are handling this very unprofessional.

Yes, the BR is a piece of junk. Since i collect junk, i'll make you a very reasonable offer of $5 for this piece of useless junk.

this dudes probably gonna make some money off this thing too, as there are more than a few people who'd pay more for no wait. shame really...
