The barrage?

I just checked wal-mart here, no luck.:grumpy:
I will keep checking and hoping for a plain edge.
All they had for Kershaws were the Storm2 and the Scallion. No blurs anymore.

I dunno how many of you have used Kershaw's new serration pattern, but I can tell you it will slice thru a folded double stitched half-inch thick piece of leather like a hot knife thru butter.

While personally not a big fan of serrated blades, this one is actually useful! And sharpening is a breeze. All you have to do is to keep a very small edge on the backside of the serrations, and they will keep their cutting ability just fine.

I have a s30v random leek that is serrated. Would that be the old or the new style?

The new style are almost like "reverse serrations"...where the old style removed metal creating valleys in the edge, the new style leaves the curved portions, and just removes the "v" between the bumps...it makes for tougher serrations because little metal is removed and the edge maintains some thickness.

What? What are you trying to say?

Instead of grinding out "large valleys" for the serrations (thin serrations), they are leaving "mountains" and creating small valleys (thick serrations)...in effect, reversing the amount of metal that the blade retains.

Cool, well now I will be able to pick up a good edc......just about everywhere.

Looks like I won't risk carrying my $200 folders on the plane anymore and will just pick up one of those babies at wally world.

I keep hearing about kershaws al WallyWorld for excellent prices, do any of you folks have a list of all the Kershaw models sold there. With great knives @ killer prices, I might just have to pick up one of each.

We did get an all USA selection with Wal-Mart this year.

Tanto Blur
Black Leek
OD-1
Zing
Skyline
2445ST (non cataloged item)

All are shipped, and if are not in the stores today, should be very shortly.

I checked tonight but they didnt have any of these yet. I am waiting patiently!

I'm so glad to see Kershaw take over the WalMart knife counter w/ all USA made products!

Trying on the Zing, but as of today, no.

A short run of the OD/Black Scallion is currently being produced for a buying group, so you will see them on the market, but probably not at your favorite buying places. Delivery will be in March.
