An authorized Russian dealer still has some for sale, including a slightly different variety: Elmax steel with jimping and a backspacer. Basically, a NeOn Lite in Elmax.

^^^ Jhileman79’s post has re-awakened a question that’s nagged me off and on for a while, so I’ll toss it out here now. Is there all that big and noticeable a difference in how the action works between MRBS and SRRBS Shiro’s? I’ve been lusting after a SRRBS Shiro for a while now, but the prices have held me at bay so far. Anyhow, just how does the difference between the two feel? Am I missing out on a sublime, ethereal flipping action experience? Or, on the other end of the range of possibilities, is the functional difference so minor that it’s impossible or very difficult to even detect? Or is it half-way between those two extremes? Or some other possibility that I haven’t figured out yet?
 
Agreed that the new RDD is a beauty (and worse yet, I happen to be sitting on top of a pile of available leisure cash that’s dying to get burned up or thrown away right now), but I don’t think I could bring myself to actually carry and use a beauty like that. If I ever scratched that pretty damasteel blade I’d be looking for a short pier to take a long walk on.
 
So my Mail-day was supposed to be Saturday but the seller didn’t select saturday delivery. I was s little disappointed but this knife was worth the wait. I carry my F95NL everyday and I had a CD Hati but sold it. When I saw this on AZCK I called them and made an offer to the seller. We worked out a deal and I couldn’t be happier! This was an original lottery piece at 2016 Blade Show. I am a huge fan of CF and this will be the main piece of my growing collection! It is so much lighter than the NL. The titanium is milled out and you can see the CF from the inside. The blade doesn’t have any markings on it (CD and s90v) which is different than the Hati I had before. The Single Row Roller Bearing System makes the knife fire out and drop like is has a fresh coat of KPL. If anyone has the opportunity to own a CD knife you should make the investment

Without a paid membership, you'll need to use a photo sharing host like Imgur of Flickr. Upload your pics there, reduce them to a maneagble size for viewing here (I cut mine to 1000 by 750 or so), find the BB code, copy that, and paste it right into the body of your text. Alternatively you can click the picture icon to the right of the smiley in the tool bar here and paste the Direct Link into the dialog box. I use Imgur and would suggest using their desktop site on a PC or Mac. You can do it on your phone but have to jump through a few hoops.

I presume this is the knife you bought.

F95 Custom Division - CF Inlay #324

I've seen one like that with the Ti slabs milled all the way through to expose the back side of the CF inlays. Sweet knife. You better get some pics up or we'll have to come to your house and confiscate it. :eek:

I had the same thing happen to me back in August when I got an error message that I didn't have permission to do something or other and came to realize my Platinum had run out. It would be nice to get some email notification, but I guess Spark's got plenty enough to look after and we do tend to figure this sh*t out for ourselves eventually.
 
well its not so much an impulse as something im just pondering over and i tend to enjoy smaller knives around 3" more and buying another shiro for me is much easier said than done

Somehow the knife seems to shrink more and more every time I use it.
When it first arrived my thought were it's kind of big for my taste.
Now I think it's closer and closer to an ideal size.
