The Beer Scout Knife

Will the Soda Scout feature the same script or will it be a standard "Scout" shield script?
 
Can't wait for pics of the micarta version to start showing up. I'm starting to regret only preordering one.
 
I didn't like the idea of beer scout knife but I agree the font looks great. I withdraw all previous worries.
 
I wondered why not just "Scout" or "Beer Scout." But a nice font is like a nice pocket knife. You want to use it, not just carry it. "Beer Scout Knife" is an instant classic.
 
Yes and on the shield of the soda scout, the shield will read "This is not the Beer Scout Knife but the Soda Scout" ,,lol,,,don't blame me, I'm just the messenger, Mike told me this! Lol:eek:
 
All this speculation about what gets written on the shields inspired me to think about engraving a message on a blank shield. I think I'd enjoy having a knife whose shield contains the words "This space intentionally left blank".

Barry's SFO is going to have a shield that says "No Printing." I wonder if that means he will use a cursive script.

I would like the shield to be more simple and just have "Shield" engraved on it.
 
I like the sunbrite too, that's why the other day I had to reserve one. What I like about Barry's SFO is the smaller Yukon shield, with no script. Brilliant! Gonna be a super sweet knife!

I agree Sonnemann, exactly what drew me towards the photo initially. That style would make a sweet bolster mark in the future.
 
Just kidding. Im excited to get these in hand. Looks like the bail should come out easily with pliers, right?
