Yes, it was Evan, aka Esnyx, who first created the Evan's Jack, the Florida Jack, the Beer Scout if you like. And its surge in popularity resulted in discussion here in these forums, and eventual production in Titusville. Evan can rightly claim to be the Father of all Beer Scouts!
????![]()
Not how I remember it.The only thing I remember Evan doing was being the first to mod a TC into a beerlow but GEC had already made the crown lifter series and radio jacks before that. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
Did he ever make one with the TC bolster? I thought he posted once that he wouldn't do that to a TC.Yes, it was Evan, aka Esnyx, who first created the Evan's Jack, the Florida Jack, the Beer Scout if you like. The above is my understanding. Not how I remember it.The only thing I remember Evan doing was being the first to mod a TC into a beerlow but GEC had already made the crown lifter series and radio jacks before that. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
Sent you a pmI only know from what I read which is the quote that Scott posted..forgive me if I'm mistaken.![]()
There's a lot of difference between either of those and critiquing it on the internet. There is a lot of difference between "Making a knife" and grinding out one somebody else made.

It's not my work. I just don't understand the denigration. Even if someone posts an incorrect statement about the origin of this knife. There must have been a demand for his modified pieces, they sold well.Well, Excuse Me.
I was just looking at these knives on the GEC web site. The combo of a sheepsfoot and screwdriver blade with the EO notch is something I might buy. However, the "Beer Scout Knife" shield isn't something I care for, nor do i want a bail on my pocket knives. Guess I'll pass on this particular offering.
Well I stand corrected! Very nice!
