The Beer Scout Knife

New arrival this morning, along with today's carry. The fit and finish on my Beer Scout is spot on.

...How many others picked up the pint glasses also? I remember seeing a couple names but I'm wondering if that spurred others to get them as well. They come in a set of four...too bad none of you guys live close to me, I'd have a few of you all over to really put the knives and glasses to use!!

I told my wife that I'm getting a theme kit: 4 beer glasses and a beer opening knife. She is assuming that the beer glasses are for her birthday. Poor deluded love of mine...I'm talking my wife.
I think she'll be ecstatic when she finds out I have TWO BS knives coming. That's before the SFOs. (shuuush!)
I'm really going to enjoy her birthday.:D

^ Excellent idea, and wish her a Happy Birthday from everyone on here so that you can prove how long you've been planning this. It'll make her even more happy and then you can buy another knife without her getting angry haha

Beautiful saw cut, Jacob! Barry and I were talking earlier and I was saying to him that I felt the saw cut was the real sleeper in this whole run, of what I've seen so far, just a great looking handle! Love everything about it except the fact that I don't have one.

I completely agree, Perry. I had no interest in the sawcut, until I saw it... then I immediately placed an order. What a stunner of a knife! I can't wait to get mine and post pics with my original Beerlow/Beerscout.

That's great Evan, I look forward to looking and drooling over yours! Maybe one day I'll be able to snag one from some unexpecting soul.;) Now, your shadow Beerlow, to me anyway, is the true ultimate in the whole of everything cap lifter related, I'm just sayin!:thumbup::thumbup:

I mean..technically I can drink just as many beers as beer scouts will be out....that means I should acquire them all no? :D :D ;)

I like how you think Tim. Unfortunately my penchant for scotch and, mainly, bourbon has me wondering if I can walk in your shoes.

Asking for a quick vote ... should I go for a Chestnut Sawcut Bone one, or for Smooth Ivory Bone.
And no, "both" is not an option, as I still gotta get either a #42 or #73 ... ;)

That smooth ivory bone should look very good; GEC has used that before on this frame and did well. Congrats and enjoy it! I'll raise up a beer for you!

I think the sawcut is the best I've seen out of this run so far. Absolutely gorgeous. If I hadn't already preordered an ebony and a micarta, I'd have a sawcut on order as well.

Sat on the patio with the wife yesterday listening to the cicadas & watching the sun go down. My Beer Scout got used to open a couple of different beers & ciders. The caplifter worked very well. I recall reading that there was a redesign of the caplifter from the original. Comparing it to my 1st run Radio Knife you can definitely tell a difference.
