The Beer Scout Knife

Went and picked mine up when the post office opened this morning. Every one of the Smooth Ivory I have looked at so far has that creamy white with some nice depth to it. GEC did a great job on these.

Been anxiously awaiting the first finished cocobolos..... These look REALLY nice!

Came to say the exact same thing! The cocobolo version is the one I have coming, so it is great to see them coming together so nicely. I have yet to see a Beer Scout Knife variant that I would pass on if I had the funds for them all.
Thanks,
Brian

Woo Hoo! Got the email on the coco bolo! I seriously wish I could justify the smooth ivory & beer glasses too, but no complaints at all. Really looking forward to having fun with these.

The two that appealed to me the most were the Tortoise and the saw cut bone. Wow. I had to get those.

Just spotted in it's natural habitat this morning. Now waiting for the smooth bone and cocobolo. Nice that this came before we leave on Sunday for a week long family get-together on the Oregon Coast. I don't think my son (Payton206) has received any of his yet so I might have bragging rights and a very in-demand tool for the next week. I'm sure it will get a workout!

The smooth bone models came out just lovely!

I just ordered this one. Not the one I was planning on getting but the smooth ivory bone looks awesome. The knife having "knife" on its shield is a little corny IMO but otherwise these are spot on. :)

Yeah boy, the smooth bones turned out quite lovely indeed! Thanks for showing it, Barry!

Guard that beautiful Tortoise, jorjor! Caleb might just try to sneak it away!:very_drunk:

GEC did themselves a disservice showing that factory picture (magazine cover) with that chalky looking one. That run some folks off and I have examined A BUNCH so far and every one is that outstanding ivory looking bone with great depth.

It's looking like I should have the sawcut and the pint glasses Monday. Mike, thanks for the email updates explaining the fiasco that you have been going through to get all of the knives and such straightened out.

Monday just happens to be one of my days off from work. I will happily be taking pictures and drinking beer to show off my membership into the Beer Scout Knife Club!
