The Beer Scout Knife

Barry,

Do you see this Gun Scout as the beginning of more SFO runs for you? This Bloodwood was such a hit that I know many of us would be on board for the next one!

Very nice blood Ron and Tim. The best of the Scouts, IMO.

Primble - Thank you for the compliment :) Total agreement on the best, IMO

^^^^^ At first glance, as I was strolling it appeared you had two BSK's (a big one and a little one). I was about say "hey, where did you get that miniature BSK?" Then I noticed it was just a misconception, because the pictures weren't spaced a part, haha.

Nice toys, by the way!

Ha! I really wish I had a miniature one. That would be fantastic!
Thanks, I like my toys that open my beverages.

Thanks for the tip, tsa. This stuff is great. Not all that common in my neck of the woods, though. Oh, and the knife: it’s my first sheepfoot and one of my better built GECs. I bought it with the intention of adding it to my wood shaping lineup, but it's ended up as my traditional carry.

Check local tiendas/ethnic grocery Topo Chico should be there it's like San Pelegrino but way better tasting great for an off stomach too, has become also really hip in high end bars as a mixer for drinks as something about the mineral content gives the drink a unique texture

Demonstrations all over the world of hungry people who want to use their Beer Scout / SFO!

Got my Gunscout on Friday and agree with the many accommodating comments made by most on beauty, quality, etc. My problem is I decided to remove the bail and tie a leather lanyard. My three other scouts I left the bails on and tied lanyards, but could I leave well enough alone?...No! So in removing the bail I scarred it and twisted it. The positive outcome of my alteration (can't in good conscience call it a "mod") is no damage to the rich bloodwood or any other facet of the Gunscout.
That, my friends, is good news.
No photos needed. You all have that covered quite well.

Not a lot of love here for the orange camel bone. I love mine. It bumped the tortoise acrylic out of my pocket as soon as it arrived. Just perfect for me. I wish I had tapped the screen to focus on the knife better in this shot, but oh well...
