The best folder!

FFK,

Thank you for asking. There is no rule, per say, that restricts you from using all caps. But, it's a matter of netiquette. Words in all caps are viewed as emphasized, or being conveyed with a raised voice. Complete sentences in all caps is subsequently deemed rude and unnecessary because it comes off as shouting. For instance, did you happen to notice that you're the only one doing it?

Feel free to continue, as I said there is no rule restricting it, but there's also no rule against being the only person in a restaurant, doctors office, or elevator shouting either, but people are going to distance themselves from you.

Or, google "all caps online" and read more about it.

ETA: To get back on topic, James, did you decide yet? Lot's of great suggestions in here.

Yes I have thank you straitr! I chosing the Benchmade Adamas, is it possible that benchmade can change the steel of the folder to M4?
Cheers Straitr! Love the help :)

I don't believe benchmade will change the steel on a knife to the steel of your choice :o Otherwise there would be a ton of s90v griptilians or other popular edc models in popular modern steels.

No. Benchmade does not update steels and I don't think the Adamas folder was ever made in anything other than D2. I absolutely love the knife, but D2 isn't anywhere near my favorite steel. I really wish Benchmade did the Adamas in CPM-M4 like they do with the Contego, as M4 is a huge jump in performance (especially toughness).

Not sure if this could also generate interest, but for some outdoors work you almost need a blade beyond 4 inches. Great quality 4-6 inch fixed blades can be had for $50-100, and this may allow the folding knife to be more compact for general usage like city carry. Even if you went with a larger folder like the Adamas, having an inexpensive and quality fixed blade would allow one having a more specific-usage tool for certain work...and this is also a major plus given there are things I do with my inexpensive RAT5 that I would never dare do to any folder as regardless of how great the folder is, that usage expedites wear and tear greatly, and in many cases causes major damage to the folder. For example, frequent batoning with with many folders will ultimately result in the development of blade play (if the impact does not break the blade or locking mechanism prior). And while not always immediate, that kind of impact does accelerate wear.
