The best knife to ever come out of the Swamp?

Going back old school...

- Camp Tramp (naked version with no logo)
- Howling Fat (who has one of these? had one and traded it for a SJ)
- Ratchet (origional black version with sheath)

no love for the Vex?
of all my swamp rats,I use it most

I just got this original release Basic 9 the other day to match my generation 1 Battle Rat and Dog Father! These may not be the best knives to come out of the Busse, Swamp Rat, and Scrap Yard compound, but they are certainly among my favorites!!!

When will we get the report of this ultimate, high endurance, chop-off? In a duration competition i think the battle rat or m9 would beat out all, normal release offerings from all three companies.

The satin battle rat would likely do even better. The b11 could be the penultimate but could also be a touch too large.

This in no way changes the lust factor of the Daddy or Mastiff, our Rucki. The lowly warden gets pretty jhigh marks from me too.

I have not been around long enough to compare to the older models but I have yet to see any knife of any brand compare to the Chopweiler in that size so it takes my vote.

'bout time the CT is getting shown some love! ;) :)

That being said, since my Battle Rat got into the Koyote pants, it's been getting a lot more carry time! Rides smaller and lighter now...

Is that a KoyoteGirl sheath?

Is that a KoyoteGirl sheath?

Yes 'tis! awesome, no? I had ordered a Bushbeater before deciding to simplify my collection down to fewer users...the sheath fits the BR like a glove and it's just awesome for carry now.

That is a really, really nice blade. I like the understated lines. Specs? Of course, now I must have one. :)

Here's a link to Eric's original announcement thread. There's some good info in there.

And yes, it's a REALLY nice knife. Among other things it's amazingly good at food prep.

You kill me with that photo.

If I didn't know you would shoot me dead, I would so hop a flight and try to steal your awesome blades. ;) :)

lol. :D

I do agree, the swamp has brought out some beauty's, This 11 series has my taste buds going though, especially that little 3-11. :D

311???

311!!!!! :D
I have a good feeling that's going to be an instant classic for me :)

Hi Guy's
I'm trying out a new combination of tools, I have a Ratmandu, and a Rodent 9, a Gransfors Bruks small forest axe, and a Silky Saw, this may be it, and I can survive in my playpen. I use to have O.K.C. Afghan in the 5160 and the Ranger 9 same steel and I'm glad I changed over, I feel I found the best combination for me. I think I have the best
Best,
Paul

oh yeah, last but not least I also added a Swamp Rat Rodent Solution to the above combination, I think I'm covered, like I said before its like going to a dentist or a mechanic with just one tool, but if I had just one tool, it would either be the Ratmandu or my Gransfors Bruks Small Forest Axe..
.

Hi paul'ie! Welcome! Looks like you have quite the collection! Nice! Please post pics for those of us who live vicariously. ;)
