I'll go out on a limb and say the photo has been manipulated...was there a story to go with the pic?
 
I'm amazed that guy can lift 260 lbs of dead dog. I bet it messed is back up for awhile... LOL
 
funny how all those people who kill animals with their bear hands or knives are canadian :)
 
I have 140 lb. timberwolf and that is MUCH, MUCH bigger than mine. I would guess over 300lb. and wolves never get that big..I say fake...
 
Oddly enough, shorty after shooting it, they found a collar around it's neck with "L. Talbot" engraved on it.......... :D
 
If properly scaled, the wolf's skull would be 2x the size of the man's.

The largest wolf ever found/killed in North America was 175lbs in 1939. Even the extinct Dire Wolf only grew to 5 ft and 175 lbs.

I say faked picture.
