Maybe Sanu made one to show he was better than the village kami. Can't remember. We could make them at HI with no problem -- in a couple of weeks!!!!

Double Ditto:D :) Pay Day is coming and so is the check to cover the AK that showed up with my Tarwar. I might as well make the check out for enough to cover two pre-paid Biltons. I knew I wasn't alone in my obsession to get my hands on one of these "belt knife" khukris. Don't know what the kamis at Bir Ghorka think of these little khuks, but I'd sure like to have a couple made by any one of 'em.

IIRC, Kami Sherpa may have presented it to me in exchange for the cowboy hat I gave him last time he was over. Or maybe not.

Ics37, sounds to me like you want one of them Biltons as bad as I do. I want to walk into the Cattlemens Steak House up in Fort Worth with one hanging on my belt to do battle with their ridiculously huge steaks.:eek: :D

Uncle, I see you are on line. Care to comment or should we put it to bed. Most of these were from Kami villager @ $30. Don't know what a run would cost. Just curious as to the possibility.

How many do we need total? I'll put in an order. If we can get them from the village kami we'll do it. If not we'll have to make them ourselves and the kamis probably won't use rosewood. They think saatisal is more durable and they will probably take some license in the production as they usually do. Village kami stuff $30. BirGorkha stuff $40.

Tell me what to do.
 
I'll take two Uncle Bill, I don't much mind what the handles are made of (horn would be nice) as long as the blades don't exceed 5 1/2" length (which would disqualify them from my intended application). Check on it's way for two at Bir Ghorka price, if they wind up villagers just put the difference in the Heineken fund.

If there are extras, maybe 1-2 more for gifts.
Size should be close to what you recieved
in the first Bilton shipment.
Maybe they'll choose to make some different styles
in that size to choose from.

Rosewood handles would be nice, BUT I defer to the Kami's experience
