The Birth Of A Fighting Khukuri (UPDATE)

Thanks Joe, I like your "toys", particularly the contrast of colors, the short barrel... If you make the Bed & Breakfast I know where I have to spend my next vacation...:D

Cool pic, Joe. One question. What caliber did you use to take that tiny trophy animal? :D

I'm used to seeing you next to BIG game with a BIG rifle and a BIG knife (with Bill next to you on many occasions).

Your presence on this forum makes it enjoyable. Keep it up!

Hard to imagine that Priority mail got this baby into my hands two days after it was shipped - so it's arrived safe and sound. I am pretty sure I'll use this one, great piece, too!

Thanks Jason & Joe,

Bob

First impressions - A piece like this needs to be front-heavy, but not too front heavy. Reduces the need to use maximum force. This has a balance point two inches forward of the index finger carry position - and it feels absolutely perfect, giving a bit of forward swing to the piece. God, the edge. Reminds me of how once, years ago, I cut myself on a Moran blade THROUGH a heavy towel, hahaha. Mighty perfect edge, for sure. WAY sharp.

I'm familiar with the Knight's Edge. Whatchoself!

Very exciting piece of steel, truly a battle worthy blade :)

Most definitely.

And I can't see any one of the lucky other eight guys being in the least bit disappointed with it. Well made, love the way it swings. And again, equal to the sharpest edge I've owned.

When Bob talks, I listen. Thank you for the words...everything I had hoped to hear!

Here are a couple pics taken after arrival, thought I'd add to the thread just in case anyone wanted to see both sides. Needless to say, I continue to be impressed with this Knight piece.

Are they all the same or are they all different? I'm a bit unclear wrt the handles...

Joss the only option is handle spacer color

I believe that ghost, white and red are the options

Congrats, Joe !
Really digging the contrast in the handle w/the white spacer..handle sure looks comfy.
