As you all know, Bill is a stickler for detail, and produces the best factory knives on the planet!! A cosmetic flaw turned up on virtually every knife, not seen until final finishing/polishing!! Oh Brother!!!
Bill sent me pictures, and while minimal, when I saw the blemish, I came very close to refusing the lot, with no replacement in sight!! We all want perfect GECs!!!
Bill sent me actual knives to view, and I had to agree that most gaps were "very minimal" to "minimal"!! After discussing it, and going back and forth with dealers, and Bill, and my wife(!!!):), I decided to accept them and offer them!! They should come through a little less expensive than other GECs, and at least make very good using knives!!! The Ebony in some cases has silver grey streaks under strong light, and frankly I love the darn knife!!
The blemish is under the end of a bottom bolster - a slight gap - most too small for a cigarette paper!!
The whole run is marked "C" for cosmetic blemish!!! Most of you won't notice or care, but at least the knife is fully functional!!! Please don't ask for a knife to be "selected" - I am asking that they all get sent at random!! The gap only extends a small distance under one pile bolster!!

Sorry for the delay, and the "Wabi-Sabi" offering!! But I will carry this knife through Christmas, and open all presents as needed!!!!🎁🎄🎁🎁

After roaming the plains, it has come home. No bull, this is a fantastic knife. Love the single blade thinness. Gabon Ebony never disappoints. Thank you Mr. Campagna & GEC for another wonderful Waynorth knife.

1765399003600543093876608150795.jpgI gotta say this is one of my favorite in hand patterns, I have the 88 2 blade and really like the shape of the handles but always felt the second blade uncomfortable in my grip,this single I find conforms to my hand and has style so it was a good choice charlie and who doesn't love ebony.
