The Bk1... Worth it?

I wound up winning it. Don't know who initially outbid spidercobenchmadekai, but I decided I'd go up to $251....just to have it. My good friend Weaponeer (Bruce) had one long ago and sold it, and can't remember who he sold it to. I thought I'd buy it so he could fondle one again. I always decide how high I'll go and then let autobid take care of it. Then I don't look until after it's over. Looks like whoever outbid spiderco tried to snipe in with another bid at the last minute but wasn't willing to go quite high enough. Whoever they were also has a lot of transactions and 66% of recent bids were on items by the same seller. Either a serious collector (maybe one of "us"), or another business looking to flip it for a bit of profit.

No kidding. I am tired of my heavy old Brute. Anyone willing to trade me a new Magnum Camp can have mine straight across. The Micarta comes off though and it ships with the original scales\sheath. I'd prefer to trade with someone that has been around for a while though, like the Warrior etc.

Dubz doesn't have a Magnum to trade, AFAIK. I have a BK5 that's pretty much like new and I've got the box as well.. I will defer to whatever hierarchy is in place; but I'd trade for the Brute in a heartbeat. I'd even pay for postage + whatever.

I don't even want a brute and I don't have a 5 but I'll order one and have it sent right to you if you'd let it go that cheap.

Hmmmm, how much is my BK-6 worth to you? Want me to bring it to lunch? (on second thought, maybe not. I'm sure Misty wouldn't mind, but some of the other patrons might think we're weird!) :eek:
