I hope I dont have to cancel my expensive order. you have my money I want my knives ASAP...
THANKS,..

You could make your complaint a little more effective in three ways.

1. Provide details of the alleged transaction. What assurances, if any were given, what claims were made, etc., stuff like that.

2. Present your claim in a reasonably coherent fashion.

3. Post it in the correct sub forum.

Give them a few days, then start your credit card charge back.

And the GB&U is your friend!

You should not waste your time ordering from a bottom of the barrel dealer like The Blade Shop when there are so many first rate dealers like New Graham, 1SKS, KnivesShipFree and Knife Center around.

Should be in whine and cheese. Edit, oh I thought I was in general, my mistake, didn't want to play sheriff.

Thebladeshop sucks? I'm glad I read this, planed on getting a few spydies and gear from there.

Info like this, and just about any on-line, web-based dealers, plus some crooked individuals, can all be found in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly forum.

A wealth of knowledge is stored there, along with the Arc of the Covenant. But don't tell anyone about that last part. It's a secret!

I honestly know nothing whatsoever about The Blade Shop, but...

Guy orders, then researches the seller & apparently discovers they have a less-than-sterling rep., then complains about them before he's even been done wrong? Complaining about the potential for getting screwed? Doesn't this belong in W&C?

I have ordered from the bladeshop once, I ordered a CRKT Hissatsu Folder/assisted... It came very fast, I ordered it over the phone and not online though... Of course I live 15 minutes from where they are located.. It sucks they don't have a store, they are strictly online or over the phone... Kind of strange, but they treated me good and the lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful... I prefer BladeHQ

The last I knew (or had anything to do with them), December 2006, they were located in a strip mall, at 314 Merchant Drive in Knoxville....But I would imagine they gave that up. Since they carry no inventory, why would they need a store?

The lady told me they had a store and shut it down to do business strictly online or over the phone.. Yes, the Merchant Drive address is correct

hey, thanks for the help.. Were do you shop for knives??

This is where the problems begin. They carry NO inventory. You order a knife from them. They take your money. Then they call Blue Ridge or Moteng or someone like that. If you're lucky and BR or Moteng have your knife in stock, you get it. If not, the run-around begins.

I got lucky twice, once with Blade shop and once with Great knives at great prices, both transactions were smooth and fast.. But I shall never deal with either again.. Pretty sad huh...LOL

I've had nothing but good experiences with TheBladeShop.com. Of course I had put a little research into the website before I ordered. As long as you call to confirm that what you are ordering is in stock, you should always be happy with them. I repeat DO NOT ORDER WITHOUT CALLING TO CONFIRM FIRST. If it's in stock then you'll have it quickly. If it's not in stock don't hold your breath that it ever will be in stock again.
