The BladeForums 2022 Traditional Knife Thread

I thought at first you posted one of those images that when you cross your eyes a magical image appears within the design...like a bunny, that would have been cool ;)

Tracking says it’s sitting in the local PO waitin for delivery tomorrow. I saw #328 has arrived, hopefully #333 is still in play. Fingers crossed.

Are those horns in the pic? It's very small and dark to see detail, Jim.

I don't know if they are technically horns or antlers, but it looks like they belong to a really nice gemsbok.

Charlie, no whales here. That was my Gemsbok I took with a nice Ruger No.1 in 7x57 Mauser. And I did have a Swiss army knife on me during the hunt, So this is knife related.C6B3A5FC-8DB9-438E-ABC8-DFA423F8EA4B.jpeg7AA678EE-061B-4295-A4F3-ABA64256ACF6.jpeg

Not that I shoot those fancy modern things much anymore (I'm a flintlock man), but when I do my 275 Rigby is always the go to. Such a cracking calibre. Using 156gr Norma Oryx I've had them punch through nearly the full length of a red stag.

Nice gemsbok by the way!
