What was the inspiration for the handle shape of the red G-10 handled knife in the OP?

There's no G-10, just micarta. If you mean the 4th knife, it's natural canvas micarta. (It's really more of a "brown" but lighting brings out different accents.)

I believe that Rick used the dogleg pattern as provided by Tony Bose for that one.

That makes sense - I forgot there's a difference in those materials. I'm not surprised the dogleg came from Mr. Bose. Of all of them, that dogleg is the best handle shape, IMO. :thumbup:

That Wharncliffe combined with the natural micarta dog-leg handle shape in the OP would be the ideal life-time carry, for me anyway. Another :thumbup: I'm sure it would take some thought to make it work, but the rusty gears in the noggin are slowly starting to turn . . . :D
