The Busse Combat Folder Has Become A Reality . . . And It Only Took 30 Years!!! . . . It Is Coming Friday, September 19, 2025 At 9:00 PM Eastern!!!

Got in at zero hour, thumbstud proto.

Thanks Boss!

Interesting. My other outstanding orders say "paid in full," but the folder is "awaiting fullfillment."
Surely they don't have these ready to go?

Same here. Push Dagger and Viking Sword both show "paid in full" and this order shows "awaiting fulfillment." I did include a TGULB LE with my folder order while I was at it though. :)

I'm not -not digging it...

I just need to see a video of the knife in hand to wrap my head around the dimensions

The way Garth holds the knife while using it to cut the box gives away how thin it is.

Here is a pic of the ambidextrous clip. It is tip-up carry only.

Tip-down carry is not possible with this lock mechanism as the clip will cover the thumb button.

Spine release or liner locks are the only designs where a tip-down carry will work.

The location of the clip in this pic is slightly more forward than we currently plan to have it located.

Let's Drink!

will it be like the photo you posted or like the knife in Garth’s video? IMG_9049.jpegIMG_9047.jpeg

Never mind. You already answered my question.

And light! He’s holding it like a scalpel cutting the box open! This thing might just go in my wallet for a backup edc just in case! 😁

It’s a cool overall concept/design.

Would eventually buy if Busse makes in higher hrc infi and once this platform gets more fleshed out. Not a fan of how the logo is applied. Could have been a nice touch if had a Busse folder specific logo and better scaled to fit that area.

I was wondering what the hardness will be, too. I hope it's deep cryo (60-62), like the Scrapivore.

Recommended Applications

With its high toughness and good potential hardness, AEB-L excels in applications requiring thin edges like razors, fine slicing fixed blades and folders, and kitchen knives. Especially in knives where corrosion resistance is desired. It also does well in knives that require high toughness that will be subjected to hard use.

Another option for the Aftermarket Guys: run your clip design off of the lanyard hole.

That would make for ambidextrous capability, while keeping the sides of the handle clean.

I'd loved to see the guts of this folder. Must admit it was a selling point for me. You know the saying : "Curiosity killed the credit card."

It's gonna take some CRK level engineering to fit bearings and steel washers inside that svelte integral frame. 😲

Ditto on the BLOCK Lock. I hope it's sliding on some sort of stainless receiver inside there.

I notice Jerry keeps capitalizing the "BLOCK" in BLOCK Lock.

Is it an acronym?

Busse Lock Open & Close Knife?

I think 62 would be the minimum for a knife with this geometry, especially in AEB-L.
