The Busse Combat Khukuri . . . . UPDATE!!!!

I've never owned/used a khukri, so this will be interesting to try out... :thumbup:

maybe I should have qualified that one. "I am not sure I can justify two big choppers in my near welfare, destitute, gotta pay back $170,000k in student loans for a law school degree, own no house, state of affairs."

Of course I can justify owing like a thousand huge choppers if I had more money.
 
I'm glad it isn't this year. :D Because, if I like the design, I'll want to get one, or two... and I'm too damn broke to be able to afford something like that right now.
 
first of all...........I HOPE THIS IDEA DOESNT VANISH LIKE THE BUSS'MUK IDEA DID

second of all..........I JUST SPENT ALL THAT $$$ ON A NMFBM ONLY TO HAVE IT BECOME OBSOLETE WITH THE CREATION OF A KHUK MADE OF INFI....lol

i just hope this really happens and i'm still waiting on the BUSS'MUK

I'm sure that the Bussmuk will be released... Jerry showed us the proto designs, so I got faith that he'll offer it when he's ready. :D:thumbup:
 
I think the Bussmuk will be done as well.....but it won't be as big a run as the Khukri would be.

If you factor in all the "collector" Hogs who like Khukri's.....all the Khukri collectors who have never bought a Busse....then the people who might buy one as a sole or one of a few knives owned which need to be users....like a lot of military contracts/users....the khukri stands to be quite a big commitment. For guys who invest in one or two for aftermarket sales I think they could do well......but if Jerry keeps it up for a while like the Ash I think the "popularity" of the blade will grow from word of mouth testing in military circles.....which could lead to as many being sold all over again.....it depends very much on the combat grade price...

So I suspect it might be a little while into 2009....probably when the new tax year starts...released to get the year off to a good start around April time?
