they only way that "some time next year" will equal "6 weeks from now" is if the bossHoss gets really drunk, and oops, orders them made by accident. (I dare BossHoss to prove me wrong!). I will say, that more time will be helpful to save up more money.

The most fundamental rule of combat is to fight your enemies where you have the greast advantages and highest chance to win. High carbon (>=1%) steel is doing well in folders and small size fixed blade for their edge holding capability, but when the blade size and impact increse, carbon content needs to be brought down to roughly 0.5%. This is why a big Busse Khukuri is so highly anticipated because INFI rcipe and heat treatment are the best solution for big blade application. Just like you need racing track to be able to fully demonstrate what F1 car can do, INFI needs a platform like Khukuri to show the world what it truly is good at.

A few months back I found a single long-forgotten Carbon V LTC Kurkri in my local surplus store. It will be interesting to see how it compares on chopping and edge retention to Busse.

There are some nice FBMs available at Busse for sale forum at this moment. But one must resist the temptation to buy anything now. Every penny shall be saved for the Hogzilla. Although Busse Combat Knife probably will not sell them at the same time, CG, LE, and NM Hogzilla are all on my “must have” list. Environment here has turned one into a greedy pig. Seeing so many people owning two or more pieces of same type of blade fans the desire of big INFI to such extent that constantly seeking new business opportunities to fuel INFI purchase has dominated daily life. And from you guys probably there is no sympathy but shouting like “stop whining, drink more!”

Man I hate khukuris. I hate the shape, the size and even the name. To be honest, I am afraid that the Boss is going to release a version that for some GAWD awful reason I might like. It always takes me awhile though. I am finally considering a FBM, which I have hated until recently.
