How do you find the two compare? Is the newer one pretty much an identical copy of the old design?

I can only see some subtle differences like the size of the rivet holes in the handle, the size of the lanyard holes are different slightly, handle scales are slightly different, and maybe even the choil size, other than that they look nearly identical.

I do wonder though if the re-released version has any refinements implemented over the previous gen.

Is the old one .400 or also .340?
 
The sharkface is from 2015 and seems a bit more pointy. They are both .340 ish . I love the micarta scales, feels good in hand . The difference is subtle but I see getting a different sheath in the near future .
