The Busse suggestion box.

I think Busse should do a Safety Video and make it a Sticky talking about different things like the safe way to handle knives when chopping, battening and other things that we all use our blades for. It would be a good resource for both new and old Hogs to watch as sometimes people make mistakes when handling large blades. Just a general safe knife handling video.

I was thinking about doing one myself and putting it up, but it would be on page 200 before you know it and as we all know the old saying, out of site, out of mind.

Yeah they could combine it with a FAQ and general information thread. :thumbup:

Well they have gun safety programs, why not a knife safety sticky. From what I've seen around here thus far most of us have been cut before. Some worse than others. I think Brendan being the most recent. So that would be a great idea, especially swinging these big bladed knives around. ;)

Yeah I know. :D

It would a very good idea to have one. :)

If they just put it in print nobody would read it, but make a video and people will watch it. :D

let the armchair experts have at this one....it's pointless.

It isn't a "battle ready" wakizashi that is wanted...it is a video game/anime' tool. The JSA community does not "do" this with a nihonto style blade:

The "rodent waki" is an overbuilt machete...I like it....I like most of the Hog/Rat/Dog stuff....but it isn't even remotely wakizashi except for size.

Definitely a thicker AK47!
Probably a longer NMFBM will also do the trick.

BUSSE's I WOULD BUY:

1) 12-14” Battle Mistress with no more than 3/16” thick blade, BWM handles;
2) Res-C handled machete, 12-14”, INFI or S77;
3) Almost ANY Res-C handled INFI.

Satin (at a reasonable price) or double cut option on EVERY knife offered. Coatings are useless to me, and the price you pay for satin now is outrageous. Most knife makers offer this standard. Do this, and I will open my wallet a little more often.

No Japanese knives (katana, wakizashi, etc.) can fight a (60 cm blade + 25 cm handle) NMFBM.

Thirds. :thumbup:

Oh wait... can I do that? :confused: :p

.

No, but I can.

Thirds!!

How cool would it be to put somebody in a cyber-penalty box where we could all see who was there and comment on the stupid crap they did to get there . . . well, that might be kind of mean, but funny to think about.

I think the Busse sub-forum penalty box is generally refered to as "THE LIST"

.

My mind wandered the same path. :D :thumbup:

Reminded me of the old public stockades. :eek:

Went down hill fast, Monty Python style...

"she's a witch... burn her"... :D :D
