The Busse suggestion box.

ooohhh ... how about doing some sanmai with some infi.
I don't think i've heard that mentioned. maybe an infi core with a SR-101 (is think that's the other busse steel) shell. Do the full nine yards on it, fold a few times to get that pattern on the steel, and do it polished so the hamon shows. not necessary a sword, but a knife made that way. I bet a busse sanmai would demolish the coldsteel version.

After looking at some of the WSK designs out there by Beck, Harm and Brian Goode I would really like to see a WSK design by the Scotch soaked and INFI dust snorting King of Swine.

You know what I am interested in? Take the Ash 1 profile, maybe make it look a little more like a bowie style, use .25" stock instead of .32" and add one half to one inch in length to the blade. Taper the full tang in the handle for balance. I have not dealt with INFI long, just got my first, but that would be an interesting knife for me.

Secondly, I am interested in a Boss Street made with stock about .19" to .20" max thickness. Again with the tapered tang in the handle. Just my thoughts on the matter!

I'd like to see:

1) Something like the straight-handled Busses of old (e.g., Satin Jack and Badger)

2) An SFNO blade with a different handle (maybe Fusion)

3) An ASH-1 whose blade isn't quite as tall (e.g., STJAC blade with Fusion handle)

4) BOSS Street with Sage or Satin blades (thinner would be great too)

5) Amanda Peet naked! (sorry, off topic)

To be honest Jerry, and not trying to sound too much like a brown noser, the vast majority of your knives have knocked my socks off... Constructive criticism as OP once said, helps perfect a product. This thread is a good idea. However, there is a very thin line between positive criticism and being insulting. I am not saying anything about anyone, just in general, I got a harsh kind of feeling when reading through this thread. Jerry has worked hard to make a name for himself, and that he did. With that comes some deserved respect. Everyone love everyone :).

PS. Suggestion: Def an INFI tactical Tomahawk. Id buy it in a second...

I definitely second the request for tapered tangs, especially on shorter knives. A few of my bussekin blades have found new homes specifically because they were too handle heavy for my tastes. A tapered tang retains a lot of strength while lightening up the handle a bit.

A tapered tang boss street or swamp rat mini mojo would be saweeeeet

I would love to see:

1.) A Busse (and improved) version of the WSK (Dave Beck) knife, which you see in the movie "The Hunted". A Busse/INFI remake of this knife would be pretty damn cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF0XuIfNtV8

2.) A real INFI Golok Machete (1/4" wide)

3.) A reissue of the CGFBM and with a satin finish (no coating)

4.) A SNFOLE with a 9" blade (non-NM), satin finish, although not a limited edition. That would ROCK!
