I need one knife to do it all, save for chopping. A SAK should do the trick... but how boring!

One knife to do it all? no you need many specialized knives, edc's and of course backups!

I use my Backpacker for just about everything... I'm not one to wear a belt/sheath very often so i like stuff I can fit in pocket.

I'm thinking my Kwaiken folder might be the ultimate EDC for me at least, I'm saving up for one! :D

Hey gang,
Not much happening here. We are going to Hawaii in a month, so yesterday I started searching for lumber yards on the big island that sell Koa. Gonna buy me a slab of the really curly stuff as a souvenir and (someday) do all my personal knife handles out of one piece of wood.
 
TR, I have a nice kitchen parer I got from a custom maker in Maui with 100yr old Koa.. it is niiiiiiiice looking :)

Do me a favor, lay on the beach at sunset and have a nice frosty beverage for me :) I hope to get back early next year...

Tony that is cool! From what I understand a lot of the Koa comes from old stumps and can be very well aged... awesome wood! Enjoy the trip!

I have 9 frikkies from you... one is that blocky fat g10 framed one.. so 8 frikkies after the proto frikky... need 2 more to make a nice even 10 :)

S7 Waki - just needs heat treat... same with the sword

That's a lot of frickies! 3 people own about half of them, once you get one you want more! :D A kwaiken frickie sounds cool! My next one will probably be the laminated CF one (also have the big cleaver one in white G10/CPM-154) but now you have me thinking about a Ti kwaiken!

Damn, that's a great deal! Really wish I could, but gotta get my truck tuned up for my hunting trip in a week.

I just got some new bullets to test in my prone rifle, totally new design and the company sent me a box to test as long as I provide feedback. Calculated numbers look really promising, heavier, more aerodynamic, able to be pushed faster and farther than I could with my current match bullets. Will be doing some product photography for them as well.
