Afternoon fellas.
On lunch break, from jury duty...
Didn't see many doves yesterday, our regular field has tomatoes in it this year, not much of a food source for the birds. Only took one eurasian dove. Kev, dove is excellent. It tastes like bird, just like most birds do. If you have ever had free range farm chickens that forage for most of their food, it's kinda like that, but smaller. Nice thing about the eurasian dove, they're about 75% bigger than mourning dove!
Working on getting getting into another plot with 50 acres of safflower, that will be a good field! One promising thing, I saw more quail in our field than I have ever in years! When quail opens in a couple months, I might just have to give the 20ga a workout on them little buggers!
Anyways, I hope I don't get selected for jury duty as I have a morning hunt planned for Friday at sunrise!

Best of luck with the hunt and not getting selected! We used to go every opening day and then a little bit more back home... never got many but it was a lot of fun and good memories. Doves are freaking tasty too! A symbol of things good grilled...
Crazy busy day here.... lots done and I'm finally going to get my truck brakes fixed so I can drive down hills and stuff...
I finished up a bunch more Nakago KCT's today so they are staying in stock... the stonewashed ones have been selling very quickly! If you need a good KCT check them out, they are really thick and hgav e a lot of work into them.... and of course they open bottles like nothing!
I hope you guys have a great week... and hopefully weekend plans too! I'm staying busy here and still hoping to get in some Porcinii hunting.

lol I still think that is weird on the editing/spellcheck correcting certain stuff. Try typing 3 in a row as a post.

I once got a tooth pulled in the islands and the dentist was doing a bit of partying that day... lmao he had this epic story about catching this fish and at the end he just says "barbecue" like it is the coolest thing ever... you really had to be there but it was pretty hilarious.
