I promised guitar pics... here's how it's looking at the moment! This is made from Douglas Fir scrap lumber I had in the carport.

 
You need a cool pick guard for that thing? I've got all sorts of plastic and we do pick guards pretty often at work.

That Tele is lookin' cool, D! Are you going to make the neck or buy one? A over the top western style pick guard would be coooool ...... Or a Sasquach head pick guard! :D

Afternoon fellas, just about lunch time! I've been stuck at the buffer at work today for 4.5 hours already and have about 2 more hours to go! Someone is building a clear acrylic staircase and they ordered 22 treads, 24"×8"×1" thick, polished all the way around! Ugh, they weigh about 15# each and the buffer is exactly 2 inches too low for me to stand straight up. My back is killing me!

Daniel, I do have a standard strat pick guard template already...

Finally got my shoulder video rig mostly built out. I need a new support arm to hold the audio recorder and HD monitor.
