Evening guys!

Liam, nice looking rig! Did you opt for cine lenses or just modify photo lenses aperture ring? I've thought about shooting video, but quickly realized I have no interest in it, lol! Just be careful that someone doesn't call the cops to report a guy pointing a shoulder launched rpg at random buildings! :eek: :p

Thanks X - For now I've just modified my stills lenses. I might eventually get a few cine primes, but for my needs currently, that can take a bit of a backseat. I'm still not quite sure how this will play into my personal work, and business - but it's fun. So I'll take it.

Hey gang! back in April, I got this 3V kwaiken from Daniel. Bare blade with the Motivator grind, because I wanted to try my hand at putting on my own scales and finishing it myself. Daniel also sent me some ironwood slabs and black G10 liners to get me started. Well, I still haven't done the handle and I don't think I will be able to finish it where it would do this beautiful blade justice. I have been contemplating on letting it go, but I figured I would let the DFK'ers know here first.

Hey guys!

I hope everybody is doing great!

I've been getting ready for Winter here, working on the shop and letting my fingers heal after a vicious disc sander attack.... lol. (pretty minor actually...) I finally got some new grinding belts in after a major delay (15 days to get them!) and will be back in the shop today! I have a folder almost done and just need to grind the bevels. I'm also doing a regrind on a cool folder now that I have some belts and the MEGA RF2 will be ground soon too.

Word up fellas!

Been going like mad, little dude turned six yesterday, his party is tomorrow, been running around and working all weekend. I'm beat and haven't even had his party yet!

But, I'm 4 beers deep from dinner at the local buffalo wing and sports bar place where the boy wanted to go, got some classic Stones playing on the TT now (OP record from 1968!) and am shoveling cupcakes in my face as I type this.

Life is good. Enjoy it. We get only about 75 trips around the sun.

MAKE IT GREAT! THERE IS NO EXCUSE NOT TOO!

Hey hey hey!

Hope y'all are making but great! I just watches 64 rain drops land on the sidewalk, feels good to get some rain for 12 seconds or so! It's a very mild 70° out, no wind, everything is calm, the beer is cold and life is good! Yesterday I woke up to everything outside covered in ash, the fires just up the hill have been crazy! Spreading from 14000 acres to over 50000 in less than 24 hours the other day!
