Afternoon fellas!

Just got done fishing with Dad this morning, it was super slow, only landed 6 fish. Now I just did the lay out for my 80% ar15 receiver and need some endmills. Gonna hit up Wilson and see what a 6 pack of beer will get me, lol!

I need center cutting 3/8" and 1/4" with about 1 to 1.25 LOC. I sent ya an email earlier today with some more details.

Damn truck tires, finally bit the bullet and bought a new set. I should be good for the next several decades now.

Thanks for the info guys. What that riporter did was inhuman. Most of these Refugees are not from Syria. Or even from a country wich has an ongoing war right now. And that is the main problem. Becouse if they Whant to live in the unuon they have to be registered and have their fingerprints recorded. But a lot of them are afraid that the police will find out where they came from and send them back. Thats why they dont want to be stopped and get registered. And when this happens they shout, and throw rocks and food on the police
 
The other prolblem is that the current law says they cant choose wich country they live in in the union, becouse all are safe. So each country decides how many Refugees they can take. But most of them wants to live in richer countries like Germany. So they dont want to be stopped on their way to Germany or Sweden. But they should at least respect the borders and the law of the country wich is trying to help them. Sometimes they throw away food and water becouse they dont want help from example Hungarians, they want richer countries. This is only my opinion based on what i see or hear from here. I was just curious what side of the story is media telling over there.
 
Oh man guys yesterday I went to the ICCE show here in Kansas City and it was like sensory overload!!
I went the seminars that started at 9am, Bruce Bump how to make a cut and shoot was cool that guy is a master. Took me about 4 1/2 hours to walk the room I must have handled over 100 knives, it was pretty awesome. I lucked out with it being only 20 min from my house. I put some pictures up on knifedogs if anyone wants to see them.
This was my first big knife show and I had a good time, it was nice to meet a lot of makers that I chat with on here or knifedogs and everyone was really nice.
I was beat by the end of the day I never even stopped for lunch.
 
Justin, a room with thousands of nice knives ... sounds like a good time to me. Next time swing by my place on your way and pick me up. :D

Morning guys!

It's gonna be hot again today, supposed to be over 100° and then back down to the mid 80's by the middle of next week. Got a big day, need to clean and organize the garage, it's been a while!

Sup guys! Busy weekend. Cleared out more crap from the garage, built another table. Gonna look for a SWAG table next.

Camping next weekend. Supposed to be high/low of 70/45. Pretty stoked about those numbers. Hope all is well with you guys :)

sup guys, pretty hot weekend in the bay area for my part of town. Windows open and lovely sun shining on us.

Any recommendations for a knife for my girlfriend, I think she is starting to realize a knife can be handy around the house and carrying as an edc. She had trouble closing my liner lock I got from Walter on here but it might be that she has never really handled a pocket knife. I was thinking of giving her my mini grip as it might be easier with an axis lock? Any suggestions under $100 that is CA legal?
 
Not sure what's legal these days in CA. My wife loves Spyderco. She's got a Ladybug and Delica, both purple, in her purse.
 
I agree, Delica. CA state legal is any blade over 3" (I believe that's the length) cannot be concealed and a pocket clip counts as open carry, fixed blade of any length cannot be concealed (no size limit). S.F. City has some more restrictions that I forget at the moment though. A call to your local DA will get you the specific laws for your area.

Lock backs are great for when she has her nails done too, doesn't chip them.

Hi everyone, I hope you have been having a great week! I'm back this week after being sick all of last week and the weekend before with the kids sick. We were good for one day and then we got food poisoning.... it has not been fun but we are feeling better and I look forward to getting lots of grinding done! I've been busy in the shop today and have a new fixed blade with bolsters coming right up. :D

Delica - they are great knives, my wife has one that I added a swedge to after the tip was broken. It has been used (on a boat in a saltwater environment) for over 15 years and after only a very minor cleaning and light oil works as smoothly as can be. Cool knife...

I'm on break from grinding, have some CF looking good! I've only gotten one other day in (Friday after being sick for the first time) and I managed to screw stuff up all day long. Today is going much better...

MrDrewBear, a Nakago friction folder with bottle opener tang might work well too... I hear they are going to be ultralight. :D

My wife carry's a little fixed blade necker I made her and she loves it. She didn't like messing with locks so we went fixed blade and she takes it jogging with her. Maybe you can find something like that.
