We have a lot of tourist shops but it was kind of freaky! Cheapie stuff but I was happy to see them, nice designs overall too.

I also had a couple of people ask what I do and somehow have buyers lined up for knives and jewelry. Unexpected but interesting!
Always on the grind.... :D:thumbup:

Justin, may your grinds be clean and your plunges be crisp.
I am heading out to the shop. Y'all have a good one!

Sup fellas.

Been a run down kind of day. I sure didn't bet on tequila and Mexican food not going well together. Good news is, easy way to lose 5 pounds!

Little dude was supposed to go to the dentist today, minor oral surgery and was going to be put under. Turns out he snuck some food this morning before his appointment and they couldn't do it, so now he has to go in tomorrow and it's not until 12:30! Trying to keep a grouchy 6 year old from eating until noon is going to be tough.

Got some more gun parts coming, two new bipods (two harris bipods for $100!!!) Bunch of reloading components, and hoping to get my score up in the matches I shoot! I've got my load dialed in and should be gtg.

Hope y'all been making it great every chance you get!

Good morning guys!

X that sounds rough, I hope this appointment goes better!

Good stuff FBC, what'd you get made? :D

Sounds great Justin, how's the folder going?

I got about a dozen knives mailed out yesterday, ran some errands and we all made it to Jade's soccer to watch the last get together. I have more stuff to do around here this morning and after that it is KNIFE TIME!!!

I ordered new belts and some tooling for folders... new counterbore and carbide bits. It was $700 for belts and bits  so that took a bit but folders will be back on now! :D

Oh yeah... what steel sounds cool? CTS-XHP! :D

Hi Gang!
Most dunt realize that knife maker supplies aint cheap!
Let 'er rip, Daniel!
New rifle incoming, btw. GSG STG-44 in .22 cal. :)

XHP in stock now? Do it up! Great reviews!

Man good supplies are effin expensive! People have a hard time understanding this :)

hopefully its not like their MP5 version cause it was basura and would jam like no other

im kinda disappointed with benchmade and their t6 screws in my griptilians, sent two knives in the last month and got them back quick. Only problem is that the screw that I asked to be repaired as I stripped the same exact one on both knives came back semi stripped again. And me being an idiot made it worse, I don't want to resend it out again and wait 2 weeks for same exact thing.

Bear- I have heard great reports about the STG-44.
Sorry about the screw problem. What a pain!!

lol, it always surprises me too! $$$

New .22" very cool! I'm hoping to pick one (or something in small caliber) up, how do you like it?

I'm very excited about the XHP, it sounds killer. I also really like the fact that I can finally get some Kwaiken Framelocks going in a premium steel and heat treated in house. :D

Ouch! I hope that gets taken care of soon. Is it stripping the threads or outside?

Hey guys! Big day grinding here. :D I worked on everything from a 5" Kogotana to a .36" thick massive Fighter. Pics once I get closer...

Evening guys, 4 hours later we made it back home and little Z was a trooper! He's sleeping off the anesthesia now. He's gonna be one hungry little monster when he wakes up, he hasn't even had water since 9:30 last night!

Rolf gonna be like pew-pew-pew!

XHP gives about the finest edge there is, can you say light Saber sharp?!?! Go for it!

Daniel the folder is close my friend. I just need to set the detent and send the blade off for heat treating. I got to get another #53 bit I snapped it on my test piece...oops.
I'm kind of dragging my feet on it because I'm trying to get a batch of stainless to send out to keep the price down.
Speaking of that is what I did today. Cut out a bunch of knives in AEB-L and got them profiled.

I love days off of work so I can work on knives 😊

Built a 64"x48" frame yesterday. Tapcon'd it to the wall, mounted an equal size sheet of pegboard. PEGBOARD EVERYTHING. Garage is still in disarray but it's getting there.

Hope everyone's having a good week!

Good mornin' y'all!
D, I did some handle shaping. I have been having a hell of a time keeping things square since I got glasses..... you would think the glasses would help but nooooooooo  It is really frustrating. I might give a monocle a try :D
Justin, those blades are looking good.
Bobby, rise and grind!

Daniel- The rifle is en-route. I'l lyk when she drops.
I always thought the .22 sounded like; peh-chew.......
Hi DFerz!

22 sounds like a laser, at least thats what i told the ladies :p

My buddy was able to remove the stripped screw head (it was more of that than actually stripped screw). So my regular grip is on the awt scales now.

Yesterday, I biked about 9 miles during lunch through our local bay trail...i consider it a light rock/sandy trail on my cx bike. It was so fun and made me think about getting a new bike setup. I feel too compact on it bodywise. Xander any recommendations on a cx/road setup. I'm on focus mares comp with tiagra components with a compact setup.

happy friday guys, i might bring my bike home this weekend and ride some other light trails near the beach

MDB, if your current ride is close in fit, you could just fine tune it. Little longer stem, set back seat post, move the brake hoods or swap handlebars. But I like the Canondale CX frames, also Scott. Nashbar brand actually has a really decent frame. I'm a big fan of mixed material or steel for CX, Aluminum frame with carbon fork/bars/seat post is nice, if you can get one with carbon seat and chain stays that's nice too.

hmm budget is prolly 1k, prolly 1.2k max if I can sell one of my lowers and another pistol. So I'm riding a really entry level 2010 Focus Mares Comp with tiagra components. It's an Al frame, but I am actually open to something that I can swap wheelsets to ride both road and light trails. I am open to either building my own or buying complete as I did build and swap my stuff when I rode fixed.

Just been out of the cycling world for the last 3-4 years and not sure what to get nowadays. Doubt I will even race but I do love fancy shit on my things. Don't want to clog up the thread so you can email me at drewcandraw at me dot com if you have any recommendations.

I did just that X, I moved the seat back a little to give me enough room not to be to cramped and allows better stretch. Debating if its even worth keeping if start swapping parts of for nicer things. Or just starting a fresh build or buying complete.
