Justin those are looking great!

I've been using my AEBL test knife (odd looking thing in above pic... made from a scrap I had left) and the performance is nuts!

AEBL is known for the fine edge but the edge holding and toughness is outstanding. I finally sharpened mine (on a scrap of used 400 grit and stropped on a cardboard box) before cutting the Rayskin and it sharpened like nothing else... and is still very sharp after cutting the stingray which is like cutting through ceramic. It's a near zero edge too, the edge stability is incredible.

D, those are gonna be sweeeeeeet! I like that little dashi type cutter in the pic too.
Drew, check out the Novara Strada 5d. 11spd 105, really nice disc brakes (mechanical), Through axle carbon fork and plenty of room for cx tires. It has a nice ride quality for a aluminum frame.
Have a killer day!

Sup.

My head is spinning.

Good times! 2 parts vodka, 1 part berry juice, 1/2 part sour apple pucker, 1/2 plum smashed, garnish with plum slice! Made it up as I went, it turned out really good!

i'm just waiting for when a blue or green kwaiken folder makes it debut...More blue and less red though Rolf.

I'll check that Novara at REI since its on my way home from work, thanks for the heads up

^^ Classic!!!

Ugh, super busy Monday, my job is moving so we have been getting everything packed up and sorted while still running the same volume of orders through, so it's been twice as much work with half as much space! Looks like our final move date is the 30/31.

Make it a great day!

No more walking to work!?!

Nope, gonna be driving or riding the bike across town now :-/. It is super convenient being only 200 feet from work, as if I wake up 15 minutes before I have to be there I still am not late, lol!

Spent some time at the reloading bench today, got another match this Sunday and am anxious to try out my new load at 500 meters. I can only get it tested at ~100 meters (112 yards) here and am hoping it does well. Bullet pitch and yaw can take up to 150 yards (0.125 seconds) to get below 1° at roughly 2800 fps. Think of a top that wobbles a bit on start up before it finds is center and settles down. So sometimes shooting at close range can be slightly misleading on group size.

Anyways, making it a good day off for sure! Y'all keep it real!

Thirsty Thursday! Let's Drink!! :D

I'll make you a cocktail sword! :D

I'm on my third cup of coffee and getting lots done... hopefully glueing 3 up later and also have 8 new knives finished to photograph. :D

I've been working until late and am behind on emails. I'll get back to everyone really soon! :)

Xander that is interesting stuff! Not quite on subject but I have heard about tumbling M16 rounds that were deflected by leaves, etc.

Evening fellas!

Daniel, I know you find it intersting as do i, here's a quick graphic showing the plotted pitch and yaw which can cause "spin drift"...

Applied external ballistics is very interesting to me, as well as internal ballistics. Just more stuff to tinker with!

DFK cocktail sword! I want one! :D
Good morning folks.
Hi FBC!

On the cocktail sword I actually have one planned... it's more of a dagger and I might make some soon in thick Titanium.

Interesting stuff, thanks for posting that! I need to buy a couple of guns this Fall... looking for a larger caliber rifle for my place and a black powder pistol for fun.
