Hi Rolf!

I want to start forging again. I did not get a Smithy built in time and got snowed out for the Winter! We're looking for another place that is in the area and I have been hesitant to build anything ut really want to get forging again. Look out for a really cool big blown forge build here in a few months.

Forge work - I'm planning on some big outdoors knives and traditional Japanese knives. I'm holding off for now as mentioned until this snow melts...

Durango has only gotten a few feet this year and I'm in the snowiest spot in the County... the mountain you see in the background of my pics used to have a ski hill on the north face and I get more snow than them. We're looking for a place in the country but much closer to town with a big shop. Our place has been a lot of fun but I need some sunlight! :) We do have some awesome backcountry conditions at my place this year, I'm planning on hiking the snowboard up my mountain soon if the base hardens as expected... :D

I think I finalized my latest flipper design and it's the one! I've been doing so much design this one only took three days to design in CAD and I feel it really flows.

Sup vato locos. Today is my friday! Damn tweeker moved in two doors down was having a temper tantrum at 330 this morning. I wish I had today off so I could fire up every loud ass lawn machine there is and jack up his sleepy time!

Hey Kevin simple fix crush up benadryl pills and put them in a Lil Baggy and drop it on his drive way he will be so stoked he won't even check it. .. Bet he won't stay up.

Hit up the Philly USN GTG yesterday. So many blades! One guy even had a Fairly out, so that was very cool! D, it was easily one of the sharpest knives I handled. Passed around the Backpacker and PF, and people loved them! The consensus on the backpacker was pretty much "I cant believe how light and sharp this is." Sounds like a ringing endorsement!

Found a few makers who are local too. One is very talented. I need to make time to visit his shop!

Going to breakfast to catch up with an old friend. You know what to do with this day!!!

Kevin what's up! Tweakers suck, my good friends neighbor got way out there and moved his front door overnight to the side of his house, lmao he thought the cops would not figure out how to get in!!!! He also had an iguana that lived in the entrance to guard the place. He went from a really cool guy to totally losing his house. Another friend had a huge helicopter drone he would fly behind these tweakers when they were cruising his neighborhood... :D

I had a good day in the shop yesterday.... lots of Ti ground! I have a one off new true whancliffe Ti Backpacker with a straight blade and cool swedge grind... also more KCT's.

Super Bowl! I'm working this morning/afternoon but we will be partying later today for the game! :D It's going to be on the Roku so it will be the first time I have watched football on my own TV in about 15 years! You guys have a good one!!!

You guys take your air guns serious! That is pretty impressive, my boy is getting a little older so bb guns will be in the near future.
I have been busting my ass to get the house ready to sell, goes on the market Wednesday and I can't wait. I had to tear down the knife shop in the garage but if we get into a bigger house like we want I will tripple the size of my shop I had so that is good.
This is the last one to come out of the old shop and it is mine....all mine!

Haha, he had a argument with a car horn the other night. Someone would honk their car horn (at him?) and he would hell "HONK" and exclaim that he is louder than any car horn. lol! Yesterday, 7 cop cars showed up over there so it has been a little quieter.... so far anyway. :rolleyes:

Daniel, I need to get a drone with a air horn on it so I can sneak it up behind him...HONNNNNK! haha

Justin, that little fighter profile is one of my favorites, raised straight clip has to be my favorite feature! Probably why the Stinger is my favorite DFK...

Finally admitted to the wife (and showed her) a couple of big ol' DFK knives I have bought... she took it well! Probably because her last purse I bought her cost nearly as much as one of them, lol! She asked me why, I just laughed! ;)

The wife made me a pecan pie for my bday, my favorite! Hope y'all made it great!
