Liam, That is dirty, man....really dirty! haha I will have to make do with my Gamo for another year or two. I really should send this old Sheridan E series pistol in to that hot rodder that X told me about. BTW, have you ever heard of ( or heard) Mission Electronics speakers? A buddy gave me these bookshelf speakers that sound pretty good for punk, folk & rock.
X, for sure let me know when you order that trigger, I am down for a inexpensive upgrade.
D, two words.......pocket scimitar. :devilish:

Very Funny Liam, 2500 $ for an airgun .... is a very specific rifle for precision shooter. A friend ( girl ) is part of the Andorran Olimpic Team in this sport.
I don't like much airguns, is great for training and pest control for anything else. For hunting the airguns is limited in shoots the accesories very expensives.
No riot in my country the airguns isn't limited in power. the only limitation is the strength of your arm to brake the barrel:D.
Hi everyone and have a nice day, for me is a very good day PAY DAAAAAAAAY.
Sorry for the bad english for me is very dificult to learn and understarnd
Capo this song for the new speakers.
A little cuestion . Where is Daniel? MIA?

Kermak - yeah, regular airguns are not really limited in power, my hunting air rifle is actually pretty powerful (900fps with an 18 grain .22 cal pellet) - but for precision competition, there are rules.

900 fps in .22 and 18 grains is almost 450 J aprox. It's more powerfull than a .22 lr great for coyote fox or animals since 15-20 KG.
Liam your airgun is PCP or spring powered?

"900 fps in .22 and 18 grains is almost 450 J aprox." - 45, not 450.

22lr is usually a 40gr bullet at ~1100 fps - so more than double (closer to 150 J). But still, the airgun is sufficient for small game.

Mine is a breakbarrel springer. I'll eventually be upgrading to an underlever which has a bit more power, and a longer barrel. I don't like PCP for a hunting gun, because I like to camp with it (potentially for weeks) and don't want to deal with airtanks or a pump.

40 grains at 1100 fps is 150J . 1100fps is subsonic .
What is your brand and model of airgun? I did not know this kind or airguns in spring. Usually the most powerfull airguns is in PCP.

Hey guys!

Lots of knives and snow here!

Air rifles are fun! I have a pump one that is a lot of fun, I'll go see what it is.

Evening guys!

Kermmak, I think more people should try and take air guns seriously, they are great for training in either hunting or target shooting. Having to get closer, take into account greater affects of wind, shot placement on the animal and other things makes one more careful when using firearms. I really like the challenge of hunting with my air pistols, toughest challenge there is.

Time to relax, been busy at work.

Cheers!

I haven't bought a knife since i got my nakago from Daniel a while back. I guess i found a fixed blade that works for me as I haven't been itching for a new fixed blade. Although I'm still trying to get another linerlock/framelock soon, I still need to sell all the other fixed blades which did not end up in my rotation.

Any teaser pics, D for what you have coming up?

That is really great to hear on the Nakago! I'm still planning on making the folding version too. :)

I'll get some pics! I need to re-up my knifemaker membership which will happen very soon.

I've been making Ti Backpackers lately... mailing out a big group today and have many more ready or very close. I've got some new Backpacker variations going on including a Rigging Knife (thanks to Xander for the inspiration!) and compound grinds. I'm taking requests and most are gone before I even get pics...

Big projects - this year will be all about going big! Things are lining up nicely for the new flipper design and I have a few major fixed blade projects coming up.

WooHoo! That's gonna be awesome! I'm already rolling my pennies for that one!

Morning y'all!

Looks like I won't be making my usual trip to SF for my birthday next week. With the Super Bowl (#50 too) hosted by SF the day before my birthday $100 hotel rooms are going for thousands, then the following weekend is V-day, so hotels are going to be busy again. Might try and make it to somewhere else on the coast one of those weekends, but looks like a good ol' night in with several bottles of booze might be in order, lol!

Like the seven dwarves sang... "I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go..."

Make it great!
