Hey guys.

Spent a couple hours in the shop last night. Turning an old, crap, chisel into a new shop knife. Perfectly good way to waste a few hours. I'll post pics when it's done (or WIP over on the instagram page).

Mostly just twiddling my thumbs waiting for mail call from Daniel....
 
Gonna be home tonight waiting for a call from one of our friends. BTW, my number changed Kev. I know you get all lonely without someone to talk to!

Still waiting on quotes. I'd love to get my garage wired and the shop functional again.

Sup fellas!

Just finished my belated taco Tuesday, but the Margherita are still flowing! On the rocks, no salt, of course.

Gotta get in the shop tomorrow to reload some ammo, among other things. Been thinking of making this bar of steel pointy and shar, I've got sitting next to my tool box for a while now. It needs to be stabby. Stabby is good.

Daniel, your secret squirrel projects are always fun to watch unfold!

welps MrDrewBear just got promoted today...I am now a Senior Metallurgical Tech aka Analytical Chemist without a title lol. At least I get so more moolah to help with the mortgage now. Have a great throwback thursday :D
 
Congrats MDB! Funny how those job titles work, I was running a metrology department with a "Technician" level title. Buy something stabby!

thanks guys. I been itching to buy a new folder as well as building a 308 platform bench gun.

Yea, titles are weird and most companies nowadays default to technician or assistant titles to people who have so much experience in the field.

My wife wants to hit the archery range tomorrow, an I'm definitely not one to argue with her about that :thumbup:, then grab some outstanding barbecue and church on Sunday.
 
Cleaning up and getting the grinder moving on Saturday. Sunday is brewery with friends and wife, then home to relax. I like these kinda weekends

Kev I saw your IG picture, thats a cool jig! I went looking at his stuff and I love his shop. I gotta figure out where he got that bottle jack contraption!
 
Sup fellas. Gonna be a busy weekend for me, gotta clean my rifle tonight, work tomorrow, rifle match on Sunday. I got bumped out of the three day weekend rotation twice in a row by other taking vacation. Oh well, when they're crying they don't have any more vacation time I'm gonna take a week to go chase animals all over the dessert.

Bobby, I will have to go check out that bottle jack thing. His file guides are the best. If you get a chance to get one, I highly recommend it.

Hey thanx Kev! I took second place last time, dropped one point on a bonus target on the 500 meter line. I do not intend to let that happen again! I'm going for a perfect score this time, feeling good about it!


Anyways, got my gear all ready to go and 5am is coming up quick!
