Morning guys!

Well, had an OK day at the range yesterday. Scored a 36+0 out of a 40+3. Started off with an upset stomach and the shakes, I kept trying to use my muscles to get the gun in position instead of moving my whole body and using my bones to support it. So I was even more shakey in position. Did a little more experimenting with the gas system on my gun, got it tuned and dialed down now and it runs sooo smooth now! Keeps everything a little cleaner too, not having all that hot carbon build up in the action.

Anyways, hope y'all make it a great day! I think I'm going to go fishing for a little bit.

Thanx Kev, but it's still a darn good score and I can live with it, especially since they keep making the course harder and harder to get the number of perfect scores down! I have to find some more brass soon, my current lots are getting a little worn. I think I'm going to have to toss out about 50% now, they are just worked too much.

Got some fishing in today, got a couple red ear sunfish and also a couple of what I think are Sacramento Hitch, a shad like fish native to here. Also got a little sunburned too, first of the season for that as well!

hey guys.. been laying low, literally. Feb 4th pretty bad snoqwboarding accident.. broke the head off my right humerus! OUCH! left hand typing sux. Able to move my arm finally, but no weight yet. Hand still numb from nearly breasking my wrist. I got a sweet bruise, my whole upper arm..

Oh, my arm is tingling just thinking about that. I broke mine in the same spot 4 years ago (same spot on my arm, not same spot on the mountain...). It still clicks and pops and reminds me of it now and then. If you can get physical therapy to bring it back into shape, you should do it. I didn't 'cuz I couldn't afford to at the time. I regret that choice. Good luck. Hope it was epic.

Here's a bit of a fun story for me. My truck got bashed up in the last snow storm, and I got a rental car yesterday. Way too much run around with the insurance and it was a real frigin ordeal, but anyway, I got the car sorted out. Dude at the rental place (Enterprise) was way cool. He put me in a new Dodge Challenger RT for the next 3 weeks. Thing is stupid fast and has plenty of go for the rental car version (like, get-in-trouble kind of power). My bride thought I was nuts ("How are you going to get a child seat in the back of that), but what the heck. #thingsarelookingup #nobrakes #driveitlikeyoustoleit #datgotahemi?

Hey guys... not a good day here. Here's a copy and paste from a message I sent. Thanks

Horrible here... it's been a really rough last week with our cat "The Dude" passing away last night. He went through surgery yesterday and it went well but he did not make it through the night. We just brought him home and buried him this afternoon. There has been a lot of ups and downs as everything was so close... he was like our kid and we have had him since birth. I'm too upset to do anything today but now this is over things will hopefully get better. My Mom is also in the hospital and was in serious condition but is doing a bit better... she has been in the hospital for over six months now and it has been very tough for everyone. I'm really excited to get back to things and have big plans with the knives... also the subforum will be back on soon. Feel free to send this to the guys or post it on the forum... we're just trying to have a good afternoon with the kids and keep them shielded from big stuff like this. I really appreciate the mail, it means a lot. -Daniel

Damn dudesquatch, I'm really sorry to hear that bud. As you may remember, I lost my buddy Radar last May and still get worked up over the thought of "replacing" him. Keep your head up. The ONLY bad thing about pets is when it's their time to go. Smoke and hope for your momma, as always.
