I'm glad you reminded me.

I have a Motivator II drawn up that I think you would really like... I'm hoping they will be one of my next fixed blade runs. Hang in there and I hope to make it happen!
 
Yo FBC! I explained the floating pin thing over in pics.. I personally prefer them now but either construction style will work well.

I'm going nuts waiting for fricky parts here! :D
 
I've mentioned it before as well, and agree with LiamsTrain- plain straight carbidizing looks nice, better than fire style.

And dang it D, thanks for the tbok! :D.

Also those bottle openers work better than your first style. I think you should keep those around and push the, in makers for sale gadgets. Should be an easy hit if done in large numbers and priced right. Great design, not too big.

I'll have to make more! Both have the same opener geometry but the thicker Ti works better. I made the first KCT's in 3-4 different thicknesses but sold a ton of the ultralights. You guys remember the D2 ones! I think the next ones will be .16" which is really thick. I'll have to make some for sale here.

I was in the shop until late last night working on the first one and have to say... these are cool! They are small enough to fit in a watch pocket but have a really substantial feel... full length .16" Ti backspacer. All Ti everything... I'll get some pics soon.
 
Finally got some shop time in. I sent white fireballs all over!! :O

Hey all,
Back at it after a nice weekend. Somehow Mrs. fromMT and I both have Villanova and NC in our final game. I picked Villanova and she picked NC. Not sure there is a good ending here...

Otherwise knife related... I received the S!K blade I won and put it to some use.

Also, I have a box of stabilized walnut burl and curly/fiddleback maple blanks waiting for me at home. These should make some great knife handles. You might see some on a Farily knife soon...

Turned 29 today and celebrated with my gf. Had lunch with pops and her this weekend. Enjoyed food and drinks last night with a handful of friends.

Got a cool watchbox from gf.
