The Cheburkov Channel--Picture & Discussion Thread

Got my first Cheb Monday, and have a Toucan arriving later today. First impression is great, beautiful fit and finish, and feels great in the hand. The action is very nice, maybe needs a tiny break in or some kpl though.
I've never owned a Russian made blade, but some of Cheb's knives really speak to me.

I almost bought one of those, same color, but damascus.

I'd really like one in green CF if ever possible, or even better green C-Tek.

Congrats, nice knife.

My one and only Cheburkov: the Mini Russkie.

It is nicely made and I love the size and looks, but it has a very sensitive lock bar and a sharp flipper so it can be kinda frustrating to open.

Nice Russiky there and in s125v steel makes it more special. I am tempted by a mini Russiky and am curious what it would compare to size wise. Something like a ZT 0450?

I get what you're saying about knife handles with different materials each side, @b00n , as I used to feel that way myself. After acquiring more and more framelocks, though, that preference faded away for me over time and now I appreciate both same- and different-sided knives.

I really like the look of your Russki with that sweet, marbled CF. Would you characterize that as a true liner-lock or is it really a frame-lock with scales applied both sides? My Raven is a frame lock with a scale added to the presentation side only, which is fine by me, both in terms of different-sidedness as well as different thicknesses to the two sides. It does make me think about how cool the knife would be in all CTek, though, and also think that it would very cool if Alex came out with some true liner-locks to add to his line-up.

Ditto what ChazzyP said about different materials being used, on each side of a knife! I had my reservations, until I purchased a couple made that way.
Will have to put up some picts of the 5 Cheburkovs I own...maybe a sixth on the way.

You're killing me, hhmoore! I've had my eye on one of these (with both sides scaled the same) for a few weeks now.
This one has been here almost 3 full weeks... but, from what the website showed, he got a few more in within a week.
I don't need another;but green carbon fiber would be awfully tempting...especially a non flipper version.
