It cost a lot to get these knives produced, and the demand does drive up prices!! If the dealer charges less, the "flippers" make more!! We cannot win in this crazy market!! In my opinion, it's a nice knife regardless! Personally, I forget the extra I've paid, if I like the knife!!! And I like this one!!
This is worth repeating.Your eye for design, and knowing what we'll yearn for is unmatched Charlie!
Another strike out here, but it was a fun hunt. I'll have to try for a Streaked Ebony or Ironwood 81 when those are released and just enjoy everyone's pics of these sweet City Stocks. Congrats to everyone that scored!![]()
The ebony will be one of those that sells out fast.Streaked ebony will be a banger I reckon![]()
Sue (Bill's graphics designer) and I collaborate on those!!I’ve been praising the knife but have failed to mention that I’m really digging the tube design. Did you do it yourself or does Bill come up with them?
Thanks Brian!!Your eye for design, and knowing what we'll yearn for is unmatched Charlie!

I’ve not seen it before if GEC have done it but I imagine it will be similar to what Fontenille Pataud call Royal ebony.
Charlie, I know it’s called City Stock but damn that looks like it belongs in the pocket of a rancher. It looks great!!!His service is great!! He sold out in 45 seconds, and he posts good pictures!!
